Job summary
Rocketlab is seeking a Software Technical Project Manager in Long Beach, CA. You will manage software development efforts related to Space-to-Space and Space-to-Ground Communications, requiring experience with embedded systems and secure network systems.
Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor's degree, at least 8 years of industry experience, and must hold an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree & 8+ years industry experience in computer science, software engineering, aerospace engineering or similar technical discipline.
- 3+ years of experience with project management and interfacing with external contractors.
- Thorough understanding of network software.
- Active Secret clearance.
- U.S. citizenship is required, due to program requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage the software development and integration of routers and radios on a constellation of spacecraft.
- Interface directly with subcontractors and internal engineering teams.
- Lead software teams agile ceremonies and drive best practices.
