Advanced Space is seeking a 2027 Software Engineering Summer Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience developing software for space missions. You will collaborate with engineers on projects that include onboard spacecraft software, ML applications, 3D visualization tools, and testing infrastructure.

The role emphasizes mentorship, practical software development, and exposure to mission design and navigation challenges at our Westminster, Colorado headquarters.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in CS, CE, aerospace, or a related field.
• Programming experience in Python, C++, or similar.
• Interest in software for aerospace and space missions.
• Ability to collaborate on cross-disciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with Bash and Linux OS.
• Understanding of software development processes.

Responsibilities

• Support software development projects on spacecraft-related work.
• Work with engineers on summer projects to build software tools.
• Present project results through reports and presentations.
