Job summary

Advanced Space in Westminster, CO invites a 2027 Systems Engineering Summer Intern to join our Systems Engineering team and support the development and execution of spacecraft missions. You will work with seasoned staff on requirements, architecture, interface definition, trade studies, system-level analysis, and integration, verification, and validation activities.

Ideal candidates are pursuing degrees in relevant engineering fields and have coursework in systems engineering concepts,

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in a related technical discipline with interest in space missions.
• Experience or coursework in systems engineering concepts and spacecraft systems is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, written and verbal communication skills are important.

Responsibilities

• Work with experienced staff on spacecraft and mission systems development and integration.
• Contribute to requirements development, architecture studies, interface definition, and trade studies.
• Support system-level analyses, modeling and simulation, and verification activities.
• Prepare technical documentation for reviews and presentations.
• Present results and learnings to the Systems Engineering team.
