Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in Cape Canaveral, FL is seeking a Software Engineer to support the FBM program. You will contribute to EGSE software, collaborate with a diverse team, and help modernize for efficiency, security and automation.

You should have 5+ years of experience with C/C++, LabView, Python, Java, and TestStand, and be able to obtain a DoD Top Secret clearance. This role is office-based with a 9x80 schedule, located near Cape Canaveral, FL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience/education.
• Programming experience in C/C++, LabView, Python, Java, TestStand.
• Experience working on project teams and development efforts.
• Experience developing software requirements, CONOPs, and software design.
• Experience with product life cycle (development, deployment, retirement).
• Issue Tracking and troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the EGSE Organization as a software engineer.
• Support modernization efforts geared toward efficiency, security, automation and scalability.
• Collaborate with a team of software, systems, electrical and test engineers using Agile Development.
• Coordinate with product line manager and directorates to support needs.
