Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking an Electronics Engineer to develop automated test equipment for FBM programs near Cape Canaveral, FL. The role requires strong electrical engineering skills and collaboration across project partners in a dynamic, on-site setting.

You will support FBM LE refresh and design updates for EGSE, interfacing with internal teams to deliver cost-effective, low-risk solutions and robust test systems. A Secret Clearance is required candidates must be US citizens.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or related discipline.
• Hardware and/or software development experience.
• Experience with product life cycle (development, deployment, retirement).
• Strong technical background with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) or similar systems.
• Experience with technical troubleshooting.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance; US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in requirements analysis, configuration determination, design, alterations, material procurement, manufacturing, test and acceptance for electrical/electromechanical test systems.
• Create/update project/process documentation that aligns to project requirements.
• Participate in design, procurement, assembly, test and verification of automated test systems including data review and troubleshooting.
• Develop hardware requirements from subsystem to all locally assigned support equipment test systems.
• Interface with internal design teams to provide cost-effective, low-risk solutions.
• Develop test system design documentation to communicate proposed designs to internal teams.
