Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Software Engineer II to support the FBM program at the Cape Canaveral area. The role is on-site, full-time, with a 9x80 schedule and no telework. You will design, build, test, and document software for EGSE systems and mentor junior staff.

You should have 2+ years of experience, be a US citizen, and able to obtain a Top Secret clearance. Travel may be required to support program needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent.
• Hands-on programming in C/C++, Python, Java, LabVIEW, or TestStand.
• Experience working in project teams on software development.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, debug, and document software across its lifecycle.
• Investigate problems and improve reliability and maintainability of our systems.
• Contribute to technical decisions, reviews and collaborative problem-solving.
• Mentor junior staff on projects.
