Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation seeks a Signal Processing and AI Engineer to contribute to the Communications Software Implementation Department within the Mission Payloads Division. The role centers on signal processing, digital communications, and machine learning projects in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment at our El Segundo facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or closely related technical discipline (pursuing or conferred within last 12 months).
• 0-1 year of industry work experience.
• Strong coding skills in Python or C++.
• Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Linux environments.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.

Responsibilities

• Mix of engineering projects related to signal processing, digital communications, and/or machine learning.
• Interdisciplinary teamwork with collaboration partners on ongoing research or technical programs.
• Apply standard techniques to prescribed scientific tasks and document work in briefings/reports.
• Produce and present technical results to customers and colleagues.
• Opportunity to pursue internal R&D, field work, and publish in conferences and journals.
• Training and mentorship will be provided.
