Job summary
The Aerospace Corporation is seeking an Engineering Specialist to build and test a range of signal processing and AI/ML algorithms. You will work onsite in El Segundo, contributing to classified and non-classified programs within MPD/CSID, with leadership responsibilities for program execution and mentorship.
Responsibilities include prototyping, algorithm development for real and simulated data, and delivering briefings to customers while expanding the department’s network with the program
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related discipline.
- Minimum of eight years of related experience in modern communication systems, digital signal processing, or AI/ML comm expertise.
- Experience with developing within a Linux environment.
- Strong coding experience in Python, C++, or Matlab.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
Responsibilities
- Build a wide variety of prototypes for signal processing and AI/ML DSP.
- Develop, model, and test algorithms for real and simulated data.
- Deliver tech demos and briefings to internal stakeholders and external customers.
- Provide technical guidance and insight to external customers.
- Develop the department’s business network with the customer program office.
