Job summary

Katalyst Space in the United States is seeking a Product Manager to own product roadmaps, align with company strategy, and coordinate cross‑functional teams across engineering, business development, and programs to deliver space‑tech products.

You will translate customer needs into clear requirements, run biweekly reviews, and present to executives while partnering with government stakeholders and demonstrations to showcase capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• 3–5 years of product management experience with technical products.
• Experience taking products from discovery to launch and iteration.
• Experience with government or DoD customers preferred and understanding of acquisition processes.
• Startup or fast-paced environment experience; ability to move quickly amid ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain product roadmaps aligned with strategy, customer needs, and market opportunities.
• Own the backlog; prioritize, define features, and prep for engineering execution.
• Provide executives with visibility into progress, milestones, risks, and decisions.
• Translate feedback into clear requirements and user stories.
• Lead cross‑functional teams, conduct biweekly reviews, and align on priorities.
• Deliver external demonstrations and present technical value to customers and government stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering, business development, and programs; manage subcontractors as needed.
• Define success metrics and incorporate customer feedback into future priorities.
