Job summary

Katalyst Space is seeking a Product Manager to lead the roadmap for multiple Space Domain Awareness products. You will own the backlog, translate stakeholder needs into actionable requirements, and coordinate with engineering to deliver demos for government stakeholders and partners.

The role requires 3–5 years in product management, aerospace/defense domain knowledge, and Agile experience. Travel up to 25% may be needed, with a focus on fast-paced execution and cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering/Physics or related field.
3–5 years product management, defense/aerospace or technical B2B SaaS preferred.
Domain expertise in aerospace/defense/Space Domain Awareness preferred.
Experience with government or DoD customers preferred.
Startup or fast‑paced environment experience is essential.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (Linear, Jira, Azure DevOps).

Responsibilities

Define and maintain the product roadmap for multiple SDA products.
Own the product backlog, prioritize features for engineering.
Provide visibility of execution to executives.
Translate stakeholder needs into clear requirements and user stories.
Deliver external demos to government stakeholders and partners.
Coordinate with engineering to ensure demos showcase capabilities.
Lead bi-weekly sprint demos and align with strategy.
Manage external subcontractor relationships.
Own relationships with government stakeholders and potential acquisition targets.
