Job summary

KBR’s National Security Solutions team seeks an experienced RF Systems Engineer to lead TIP operations and calibration for space-based RF assets. This role shapes critical national security capabilities by delivering advanced calibration solutions and guiding complex calibration programs in the space environment.

You will mentor engineering teams, interface with mission operations, ground systems and payload groups, and design end-to-end calibration methodologies for transmit and receive RF

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or RF engineering required.
• 8+ years in RF systems engineering with space-based focus.
• Experience with TIP operations and on-orbit calibration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• TS/SCI Poly clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Lead calibration activities for space-based assets during TIP execution.
• Design and implement calibration procedures for transmit and receive RF chains in orbital environments.
• Act as SME for RF calibration challenges in space operations.
• Develop end-to-end calibration methodologies considering space effects.
• Interface with mission operations, ground systems, payload teams.
• Troubleshoot RF calibration anomalies during on-orbit operations.
• Mentor teams on RF calibration best practices and TIP activities.
