Job summary

The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) seeks an intern for the RF Engineering Team to help develop RF systems and components for spaceflight missions.

You will collaborate with engineers to design, integrate, test, launch and operate RF hardware for terrestrial and space applications, applying digital signal processing and electronics design skills. Eligibility includes U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
  • Have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
  • Passion for space-flight hardware, electronics design, digital signal processing, integration and test.
  • Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Support RF system development for spaceflight missions from concept to test.
  • Collaborate with engineers to design, integrate, test, launch and operate RF components.
