Job summary

Qualis LLC seeks experienced RF engineers to analyze, simulate, design, develop, and integrate space‑rated RF communication systems. The team supports NASA programs, including Moon Base Utilities and Deep Space Communications Network, across multi‑system environments. An active security clearance is preferred.

Responsibilities include RF subsystem analyses, trade studies, link margin assessments, and collaboration on design reports. Mentoring junior engineers is expected as experience grows.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited university
• Experience in antenna and RF systems design, test, and evaluation (5–15+ years)
• Clearance capability and US citizenship recommended

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing transmitters, receivers, and antennas.
• Support RF subsystem trade studies and link margin analyses.
• Develop computational antenna and spacecraft models.
• Prepare procurement specifications for RF components.
• Mentor junior and internship engineers.
• Coordinate with NASA programs and customers.
