Job summary

Sierra Space is hiring an entry-level RF Engineer I to design and develop RF systems for space-based applications. You will assist with antennas, transmitters, receivers, and RF amplifiers under the guidance of experienced engineers.

The role focuses on learning design tools, following instructions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and compliance with requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Typically entry-level 0-2 years of experience.
• Basic understanding of electrical circuits and components.
• Basic understanding of electrical design tools and equipment.
• Ability to learn, receive instruction and mentorship from more experienced engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop RF systems and components for space-based applications, including antennas, transmitters, receivers and RF amplifiers.
• Assist in testing and validation of RF systems to meet performance and reliability requirements.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation to ensure traceability and compliance.
