Job summary

MMA Space is seeking a talented Space RF Engineer to design, develop, and test RF systems for space-based applications. You will own antenna systems from concept to flight readiness and serve as an RF expert in customer discussions and program development.

The role requires 10+ years of RF design experience, deep RF fundamentals, and hands-on use of HFSS/CST/ADS with strong cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of RF design, analysis, or testing experience (space or related industry preferred).
• Strong RF fundamentals: transmission lines, impedance matching, S-parameters, noise, signal integrity.
• Experience with RF simulation/design tools (HFSS, CST, ADS, Altium).
• Experience designing RF systems and antenna architectures from concept through implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead RF solutions for advanced space antenna arrays.
• Own antenna system from concept to design for manufacture, qualification and flight readiness.
• Serve as RF SME in customer discussions and proposals.
• Translate mission requirements into robust RF designs.
• Design high-performance RF systems and subsystems for spacecraft.
• Coordinate with mechanical engineering for integration and performance optimization.
• Develop test plans and execute RF performance testing.
