Job summary

Sierra Space is seeking an RF Engineer III to lead RF front-end design across multiple programs and independently perform complex propagation modeling and interference analysis. The role involves developing substantiation documentation and test plans for regulatory and military standards, while interfacing with customers and cross-functional teams.

The candidate should have hands-on experience with ANSYS HFSS, ANSYS EMIT, MATLAB, and RF test equipment, and possess an active security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in RF Engineering or related field with 6+ years of experience.
• Or Master's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• In-depth understanding of RF modeling and analysis techniques and tools.
• Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance with eligibility to obtain Top Secret.

Responsibilities

• Lead RF front-end design efforts across multiple programs.
• Perform complex radio propagation modeling, microwave path analysis, and Cosite analysis.
• Develop substantiation documentation, test plans, and compliance packages for regulatory and military standards.
• Interface with customers, program management, and cross-functional teams on technical trade studies and design reviews.
