Job summary

AST SpaceMobile seeks an Associate RF Assembly, Integration, and Test (AIT) Engineer to execute, integrate, test, and debug flight RF hardware for a fast-paced LEO program. You will build, validate, and troubleshoot RF systems from bench validation through launch operations on the manufacturing floor.

You will work directly with TT&C and GPS leads to translate designs into robust, flight-ready hardware, ensuring adherence to workmanship standards and timely problem resolution under schedule

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent hands-on RF experience.
• Experience with TT&C frequency bands and flight hardware is required.
• Hands-on RF assembly, test, and integration on RF subsystems.

Responsibilities

• Build, integrate, test, and debug flight RF hardware from bench validation to launch operations.
• Verify RF performance margins and interface integrity through empirical testing.
• Design, assemble, and sustain RF racks and test infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain RF test automation for repeatability and traceability.
• Support launch site operations with RF troubleshooting and configuration validation.
