Job summary

AST SpaceMobile seeks a highly hands-on RF Assembly, Integration, and Test Engineer to execute, integrate, test, and debug flight RF hardware for a fast-paced LEO satellite program. You will personally build, integrate, verify, and troubleshoot RF systems from bench validation through launch, partnering with TT&C and GPS leads to translate designs into flight-ready hardware.

This role is a build, test, and fix position on the manufacturing floor, requiring keen hands-on skills and disciplined

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent hands-on RF experience.
• Strong practical RF experience across TT&C frequency bands.
• Hands-on RF assemblies, coax harness fabrication, antennas and RF subsystems.

Responsibilities

• RF Assembly, Integration & Test execution for flight hardware from bench validation through launch operations.
• Hands-on build, inspection, and rework of coax cables, harnesses, connectors, and RF racks.
• Design, assemble, and sustain RF test racks and automate RF test sequences.
• Support launch site operations and provide RF troubleshooting for readiness.
