Apex Space, Inc. seeks a Radiation Effects engineer to lead space environment qualification and design for satellite buses. You will be the focal point for radiation susceptibility of spacecraft electronics and coordinate with designers to ensure robust, properly tested hardware.

Role requires deep expertise in radiation effects testing, modeling, and SEE/soft error analyses, with strong collaboration across engineering teams and customers.

Qualifikationen

• B.S. in engineering/physics related field or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years in radiation effects or reliability engineering for aerospace.
• Experience with radiation tools and standards, test campaigns, and budgeting.

Aufgaben

• Establish and own radiation qualification campaigns for critical electronics.
• Operate radiation test equipment and evaluate test results.
• Provide radiation tolerant design recommendations to improve mission success.
• Contribute to proposals, requirements, and design reviews with radiation assessments.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and execution of test campaigns at facilities.
