Job summary

Array Labs is seeking a Radar Engineer with MTI experience to contribute to the design of space-based AMTI/GMTI radar systems. The engineer will prototype MTI algorithms, develop robust architectures, and analyze performance metrics in a fast-paced, cross-functional team.

The role requires expertise in radar signal processing, system design, and simulation, with collaboration across software and hardware teams to enable deployment and integration of the radar constellation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with radar system modeling and simulation.
• Proficiency in Python, C/C++, or MATLAB.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret security clearance.
• Experience with MTI/GMTI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and prototype MTI algorithms for space-based radar systems.
• Produce: scalable, reliable radar system architectures for MTI.
• Analyze performance metrics: detection probability, false alarms, clutter suppression, tracking.
• Develop and validate designs using simulation tools.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and program management teams.
