The Aerospace Corporation in Chantilly, VA, seeks a Senior SAR-Based MTI Engineer to lead MTI-related sensor solutions and performance assessment. You will model, simulate, and modernize MTI processing while serving as the principal technical representative to customers.

Applicants should hold an advanced STEM degree with 10+ years of relevant experience, and be capable of obtaining a security clearance. On-site work is required with potential collaboration across DoD and intelligence customers.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree required in a STEM field and 10+ years of experience.
• Proficiency with MATLAB or Python for engineering code.
• Experience with SAR MTI applications and MTI tracker performance modeling.

Responsabilités

• Assess or develop sensor solutions to improve target search and track.
• Characterize F2T2 performance using simulations and datasets.
• Model ground truth and sensing outputs to support future space systems.
• Modernize MTI processing code base to meet future needs.
• Serve as integration leader and technical rep to customers.
• Collaborate across disciplines to explore enterprise solutions for national missions.
