Job summary

KBR, in conjunction with NASA's Johnson Space Center, seeks a Research Psychologist to lead behavioral health and performance studies for human spaceflight. You will design, execute, and report research, develop grants, and deliver high-quality results to stakeholders.

This on-site role requires collaboration with NASA teams, data analysis, and dissemination at conferences, with occasional travel. Minimum 3 years of relevant PhD experience and strong writing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. and at least 3 years of experience in Neuropsychology, Clinical, I/O Psychology, Space Psychology, Health Psychology or Behavioral Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Lead research design and execution to answer applied spaceflight questions.
• Develop grant proposals and directed research in spaceflight analogs and with NASA personnel.
• Coordinate data collection, cleaning, and analysis; write reports, articles and presentations.
• Disseminate findings to NASA program management and at international meetings.
