Job summary

KBR Careers is seeking a Research Psychologist to support NASA’s Johnson Space Center in the Behavioral Health & Performance Laboratory. You will lead research design, coordinate data collection, and prepare reports and publications to inform spaceflight mission planning.

Ideal candidates hold a Ph.D. in psychology with 3+ years of behavioral health research experience and excellent writing and presentation skills. On-site work in Houston, with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in psychology with relevant specialization and at least 3 years of experience.
• Experience conducting behavioral health and performance research, literature reviews, and data analyses.

Responsibilities

• Lead research design and execution to address applied spaceflight questions.
• Develop grant proposals in response to NASA or external funding calls.
• Coordinate data collection, cleaning, and analysis; prepare reports and journal articles.
• Present findings to NASA program management and at international meetings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including flight surgeons and mission managers.
