Job summary

Rocketdyne in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a Space Propulsion Test Mechanic C to join the 1st shift on our on-site facility.

You will assemble, mount and test propulsion systems and components in collaboration with engineering, and maintain logs to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. This role requires an A&P license or equivalent industrial experience and up to 4 years of related work.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent and 0-4 years experience.
• Requires Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License or equivalent industrial experience.
• Two year technical degree, trade school, or equivalent and 3-5 years' experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, mount, and test development and production space propulsion systems and rigs.
• Follow procedures, drawings, and work instructions; interface with engineering for testing requirements.
• Maintain logs; ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations; travel as needed.
