SpaceX in Hawthorne, California, seeks a Propulsion Technician (Fluid Systems) responsible for assembling and testing rocket hardware, sub-assemblies, and related systems. The role requires hands‑on mechanical work, troubleshooting, and adherence to safety/quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years in manufacturing, military, assembly, fabrication, aviation, or automotive OR certificate from an accredited trade skills program in A&P, manufacturing, and/or electronics.
• A&P license and 2+ years aerospace engines experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test rocket hardware and sub-assemblies.
• Stage, install, set‑up, test and de‑stage engines.
• Troubleshoot engines and cell systems.
• Operate test cell instrumentation and related computer networks.
• Accept or reject test units based on data.
• Follow procedures, specifications and test instructions.
