Job summary

Astranis in San Francisco is seeking a Propulsion Engineer Intern for Summer 2027. You will design, analyze, build, and test propulsion hardware while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

This twelve-week, hourly internship is for students currently enrolled at a four-year university; graduates who have already completed a degree should apply for Associate Engineer. You will gain hands-on experience with space hardware from day one.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a B.S. in a technical discipline.
• Understanding of spacecraft systems demonstrated through course work or student organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to personally design, build, and test hardware from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Make an impact on the Propulsion team by designing, analyzing, building, and testing propulsion system hardware
