Job summary

Astranis invites passionate students to join the propulsion team as interns in a hands-on role, designing, analyzing, building, and testing propulsion hardware. You will collaborate across disciplines to support propulsion initiatives and learn to translate classroom work into real-space applications.

Internship is twelve weeks, hourly, open to students enrolled in a four-year university. If you have already graduated, you may apply for an Associate Engineer role at Astranis.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a B.S. in a technical discipline (e.g. Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, Physics).
• Understanding of spacecraft systems and operation demonstrated through course work or student organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to personally design, build, and test hardware from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Make an impact on the Propulsion team by designing, analyzing, building, and testing propulsion system hardware.
• Take on interdisciplinary projects with other teams to support Propulsion and company initiatives.
