Job summary

Astranis Space Technologies Corp. is seeking a Propulsion Test Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 in Northern California.

You will oversee propulsion test plans, equipment design and testing, and work cross-functionally to meet stakeholder requirements while considering cost and schedule impacts. The role emphasizes hands-on design and rapid iteration, with opportunities to build and qualify propulsion tests, learn from experienced engineers, and contribute to a growing space propulsion program

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in aerospace, mechanical, or related engineering field.
• Passion for testing and hands-on design/development.
• Demonstrated ability to design, build, and test hardware from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and qualify tests and test equipment for propulsion systems.
• Perform component and system level design, analysis, and trade studies for test equipment.
• Develop and execute component and system level test plans.
• Work closely with other teams to complete tasks.
