Job summary

Busek’s Electric Propulsion Systems seeks a Sustaining Electrical Engineer to contribute to space flight programs for NASA, government agencies, and the commercial space sector. You will work on electrical circuits for complex systems, concept of operations, product development, and interface with customers and suppliers.

The role requires 20% travel to attend design reviews, technology interchange meetings, and flight hardware support at customer and supplier locations.

Qualifications

• Experience with customer/supplier design reviews and technical interchange meetings.
• Background in analog, digital, and mixed-signal design.
• Good communication and collaboration with internal and external teams.
• Basic understanding of power converter operation for propulsion systems.
• Experience with circuit simulations (LTSpice).

Responsibilities

• Lead robust space electronics development with customers and subcontractors.
• Evaluate product design limits, reliability, margins, and failure modes with teams.
• Refine test plans with designers and test engineers; support contract manufacturers during production.
