Job summary

Benchmark Space Systems is seeking a highly experienced Electrical Engineer to join the Avionics team. You will help design, develop, and qualify the modular propulsion avionics system for small satellites, working with engineers across disciplines to bring next-generation propulsion concepts to flight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical engineering or a related field.
• 7+ years of circuit design and PCB layout experience; design reviews leadership.
• Strong written and verbal communication; highly organized.
• U.S. Person required.

Responsibilities

• Capture and distill system-level requirements into PCB designs.
• Collaborate with Mechanical Engineering to define interfaces and layout.
• Perform bring-up testing to verify operation across conditions.
• Produce documentation for production technicians to assemble designs.
• Conduct design reviews of other engineers’ work.
• Support additional duties as needed to meet business needs.
• Uphold Benchmark’s reputation for honesty, integrity, accountability, and transparency.
