Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space seeks a senior-level engineering program manager to oversee complex project planning, scheduling, and execution for hypersonic missile production. You will coordinate cross-functional teams across manufacturing, engineering, and contracts to ensure cost and schedule commitments are met.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and experience with large programs, plus the ability to communicate effectively with senior management and customers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee throughput assessments for hypersonic missile production by coordinating with central manufacturing and Navy contractor SPA.
• Coordinate planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of engineering projects; review designs for compliance and approve changes.
• Ensure manufacturing centers have resources needed to meet cost and schedule commitments.
• Provide program status briefs on manufacturing progress to customer and program leadership on a daily/weekly basis.
• Interface with demand management, program planning, finance, and manufacturing teams to align build requirements.
