Job summary

ispace-US is seeking an experienced Production Manufacturing Engineer to join our growing Production team in Englewood, Colorado. Reporting to the Assembly Manager, you will develop and implement cost-effective manufacturing processes, support existing designs, and assist new hardware development in early design phases to ensure manufacturability and successful testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineering function within a high detail manufacturing environment.
• Experience with instrumentation and data acquisition (e.g. SPICE, SQL, and/or National Instruments hardware).

Responsibilities

• Develop production procedures/processes and manage transition from development to production.
• Develop, qualify, and refine manufacturing processes to meet safety, quality, efficiency, and delivery requirements.
• Lead production readiness reviews for transition from development into full-rate production.
