Job summary

Solestial, Inc. is seeking a PECVD/PVD Technician to operate deposition equipment and support the transition of R&D processes to large-scale manufacturing. You will work in an R&D manufacturing environment, troubleshoot equipment, and assist engineers with process transfers.

Responsibilities include running baseline production lots, performing maintenance, monitoring alarms, and maintaining safety and quality. The role offers equity and full benefits within a collaborative, fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Associates of Science degree or Certification in a STEM program preferred.
• Ability to work in clean room environment.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to comply with all safety standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate PECVD/PVD equipment and assist in transitioning processes to mass production.
• Safely operate R&D equipment to run baseline production lots per procedures.
• Troubleshoot tool failures and assist process engineers with transferring processes.
• Perform preventive maintenance and monitor equipment alarms.
• Characterize partially processed solar cells and monitor process data.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.
• Collaborate with engineers on problem solving and communicate issues clearly.
