Job summary

ASRC Federal Data Networks Corporation seeks a Training Coordinator to support the NOAA TraCSS Operations Branch in Suitland, MD. You will develop, deliver, update and document training procedures for the operations team, coordinating with DoD communities to build a comprehensive TraCSS training curriculum.

The role requires onboarding new personnel, designing and tracking training, and ensuring consistency across SOPs and content delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5-7 years of professional experience as a training coordinator.
• Ability to work independently, problem solve, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Use of Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Bitbucket and other Atlassian platform tools.
• Advanced use of Google Workspace and Microsoft tools; Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Access.

Responsibilities

• Works with the TraCSS Operations and Systems Engineering leads to establish the cadence of training and certifications.
• Develops training necessary to onboard new personnel and refresher training.
• Coordinates with the relevant DoD communities to leverage existing training materials, where applicable to establish the TraCSS training curriculum.
• Designs, schedules, delivers and tracks technical training.
• Establishes training and education modules and ensure consistency in the delivery of technical training and on-boarding.
• Provides train-the-trainer program and qualifies all area trainers for content delivery.
• Partners with the functional area, develops training materials, and knowledge assessments, for area standard operation procedures (SOP) and coordinates knowledge assessment.
• Utilizes training authoring and multimedia tools and software for assigned development projects.
• Keeps abreast of training and development research, learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques.
• Schedules training meetings and maintains task tracking spreadsheets or other project management tools.
• Support the staff with processing/coordinating documents to achieve accurate and timely outcomes.
