Job summary

Barrios Technology Ltd. is seeking a Software Developer to join the Space Operations Computing team, developing software and IT platforms that support the ISS under the IMOC contract.

The role includes software design, implementation, testing, user support, and maintenance of critical systems. You will collaborate with system engineers, testers, and customers, perform coding across C/C++/C#/Java, and work with Unix/Linux, Windows, and Apple device management tools (Jamf).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• 0–5 years of experience.
• Experience with C/C++/C#/Java/JavaScript/Unix/Linux/Windows/web development and Apple device management (Jamf) plus Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with system engineers, testers, software developers, and users.
• Design, implement, test, and provide user support after release.
• Interface with customers and provide user community support.
• Tackle unfamiliar technical tasks with initiative and curiosity using research and iteration.
• Work independently and in a team environment.
• Assist with Apple device management tasks (iOS, iPadOS, macOS) and platform automation using Ansible.
