Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of research or related work in nuclear systems.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or C++.
• Experience with reactor physics, thermal hydraulics, and fuel performance metrics.
• Strong technical writing and ability to communicate with government customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform neutronic, thermal hydraulic, and fuel performance analyses.
• Develop models to assess engine concepts and design space.
• Conduct steady-state and transient analyses for NTP/NEP concepts.
• Prepare reports and presentations for multidisciplinary teams.
• Support testing planning and radiation environment assessments.
