Analytical Mechanics Associates, Inc. (AMA) is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Engineer for the Huntsville, AL or Denver, CO location in a hybrid work environment.

The role combines software engineering, physics-based problem solving, and V&V to ensure accuracy, reliability, and usability of in-house codes. You will support multidisciplinary analyses of space nuclear design concepts (FSP, NTP, NEP) for NASA ANTO/SRD, develop software architecture, and prepare codes for release while

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in software/engineering or related field.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and Python.
• Experience with software verification and validation.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to understand multidisciplinary physics-based models in code.

Responsabilidades

• Lead software engineering practices across multiple AMA projects.
• Establish coding standards, style guides, and workflows.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor engineers on software quality.
