Job summary

Amazon Leo OISL is seeking a Systems Development Engineer to join the Network Operations team and help build tooling, automation, and monitoring for a scalable laser communication network spanning thousands of satellites.

You will develop data pipelines, observability platforms, and ML/AI for fault detection, while collaborating with hardware and software teams to improve reliability. On-site in Redmond, WA with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
• Experience programming in at least one modern language (Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust).
• Experience with Linux/Unix and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Support NetOps strategy with tooling development, automation, and process improvements.
• Develop scalable services for monitoring, fault detection, classification, and ticketing.
