Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Space Network / Communications Systems Engineer to work onsite at Schriever SFB, Colorado Springs, CO for the Front Range Operations and Sustainment Team (FROST). You will liaise with NRO and SCN to support real-time space system operations and mission data analysis.

The role requires Top Secret SCI with CI Polygraph, a strong SE background, and familiarity with Agile processes. Competitive pay, benefits, and on-site work are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years’ experience or Master’s with 3 years’ experience or HS diploma with 9 years’ experience as alternative
• Systems Engineering experience and understanding of SE principles and processes
• Familiar with Agile development
• Familiar with satellite operations or similar systems
• Top Secret SCI with CI Polygraph

Responsibilities

• Work with Space Systems and satellite systems leadership to develop system requirements and provide SE solutions
• End-to-end system development and integration
• Assist in developing plans and tasks
• Modernize space and ground systems
• Troubleshooting and resolution of software issues; support risk management
• Develop documents and briefings to communicate work status to government as required
