Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Space Network / Communications Systems Engineer to work onsite at Schriever SFB, near Colorado Springs, CO, for the Front Range Operations and Sustainment Team (FROST) program.

You will liaison with NRO and SCN, support on-orbit operations, and provide an interface to the Satellite Control Network. Expect collaboration across stakeholders and a strong systems engineering focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years' experience OR a master's degree with 3 years' experience OR a high school diploma/equivalent with 9 years' experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Systems Engineering experience and understanding of systems engineering principles and processes.
• Familiar with Agile development; experience with satellite operations or similar systems.
• Top Secret SCI with CI Polygraph clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Work with Space Systems and satellite systems engineering leadership to develop systems requirements and provide engineering solutions.
• End-to-end system development and integration activities.
• Assist developing plans and tasks for program execution.
• Modernize space and ground system architectures; troubleshoot and resolve software issues.
