Job summary

Parallax Space seeks a strategic, hands-on marketing and communications leader to build and lead its integrated marketing function from Denver, CO or Redondo, CA. You will translate business priorities into a differentiated market narrative, coordinate campaigns, and engage customers, partners, media and investors.

You will own the strategy, editorial priorities, budget and performance metrics, while scaling a team and external partners as the company grows.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years in marketing or corporate communications leadership roles.
• Brand strategy and executive-level communications experience in aerospace/space or related B2B industries preferred.
• Excellent strategic writing and editorial judgment.
• Established media relationships and experience leading press outreach and executive interviews.
• Investor relations support or investor-facing communications experience is a plus.
• Strong command of digital channels, LinkedIn and X, and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Own the company-wide marketing and communications strategy, roadmap, priorities and budget.
• Develop and steward Parallax’s brand, messaging architecture and differentiated positioning.
• Lead integrated campaigns, product/mission announcements, website content and social channels.
• Serve as day-to-day leader for corporate communications and media relations; prepare executives for interviews.
• Partner on investor-facing narratives and major announcements with appropriate approvals.
• Establish review processes for sensitive content and coordinate approvals.
• Direct agencies and vendors, manage scopes and budgets; ensure quality and outcomes.
• Build scalable marketing operations and mentor internal teams as the function grows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate space technology into clear business communications.
