Job summary

Parallax Space is seeking a strategic, hands-on Director of Marketing & Communications to build and lead an integrated marketing and communications function. Reporting to the CSO, you will translate business priorities into a differentiated market narrative and measurable engagement with customers, partners, media and investors.

Qualifications

• Senior marketing/communications leadership with multi-channel ownership.
• Proven ability to shape brand strategy and executive communications.
• Established media relations and press outreach capabilities.
• Experience supporting investor relations or investor-facing materials.
• Strong digital channel and web/CMS workflow knowledge.
• Budget management and vendor coordination experience.
• Ability to build scalable marketing operations and teams.

Responsibilities

• Own overall marketing and communications strategy, roadmap and budget.
• Develop brand messaging and positioning across products and touchpoints.
• Lead integrated campaigns, product announcements and thought leadership.
• Manage media relations and executive interview preparation.
• Coordinate investor relations narratives and materials with legal partners.
• Establish review processes for sensitive content and approvals.
• Direct agencies and vendors; manage budgets and performance.
• Build scalable marketing tech, analytics dashboards and assets.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to translate complex space tech into clear business comms.
