Job summary

Anduril Industries in California seeks a hands-on Facilities and Lab Lead for the Space Manufacturing team. You will maintain and troubleshoot lab and cleanroom equipment, manage contamination-control routines, and ensure spaces run safely and efficiently for low-rate spaceflight builds.

You will coordinate with vendors, support safety and hazardous-material handling, and prepare the sites for growth as the facilities scale, while keeping operations audit-ready and compliant with ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience maintaining and operating lab, cleanroom, or manufacturing facility equipment and systems.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and facility-systems, including diagnosing, maintaining, repairing, and reading procedures.
• 2+ years in ISO-classified cleanroom or similar contamination-controlled environments.
• Safety experience with hazardous materials and gas handling; willingness to serve as safety point of contact.
• Experience with calibration/metrology scheduling, preventive maintenance, and inventory flow.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications are a plus.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
• Pre-employment and random substance screening may apply.

Responsibilities

• Keep three Space Manufacturing labs running day-to-day, including gowning areas and test bays.
• Perform hands-on maintenance and coordinate external vendors for work beyond scope.
• Run contamination-control routines for ISO 5–8 cleanrooms and manage consumables.
• Operate and maintain HVAC, environmental monitoring, and gas systems; coordinate larger maintenance work.
• Serve as the floor safety point of contact and handle hazardous materials safely.
• Manage lab assets, calibration scheduling, and supply chain coordination for materials flow.
• Keep spaces audit-ready with SOPs, procedures, and records.
• Support stand-up of new facilities and transition of work as space comes online.
• Collaborate with AI&T, manufacturing engineering, and program teams to maintain WIP.
• Mentor additional technicians as sites scale toward leadership.
