Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a hands-on Lab Lead for its Space Manufacturing team. You will maintain and troubleshoot lab and cleanroom equipment, manage gowning and contamination-control routines, and coordinate safety and hazardous-material handling.

You will oversee calibration scheduling, preventive maintenance, and asset flow while partnering with AI&T and program teams to keep labs ready for build and test in a fast-paced environment. Eligible for security clearance required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience maintaining and operating lab, cleanroom, or manufacturing facility equipment and systems in a controlled production or lab environment.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience working in or supporting an ISO-classified cleanroom (ISO 5–8) or other contamination-controlled environment.
• Hands-on safety experience with hazardous-materials and compressed/specialty-gas handling and storage.
• Experience maintaining lab equipment and supporting calibration/metrology scheduling, preventive maintenance, and inventory/consumables flow.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training, trade certifications, military technical experience, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Keep the three Space Manufacturing lab spaces running day-to-day, including gowning/anterooms and test bays.
• Perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of lab equipment; coordinate specialists or vendors as needed.
• Run contamination-control routines for ISO-classified cleanrooms and manage gowning, air showers, and consumables.
• Operate and maintain cleanroom and facility support systems (HVAC, environmental monitoring, gases, DI water) and coordinate vendor work.
• Serve as floor-level safety point of contact and ensure safe handling of hazardous materials and permits.
• Manage lab equipment, assets, calibration/metrology scheduling, preventive maintenance, and consumables flow with supply chain/quality.
• Keep spaces audit-ready with SOPs, contamination-control instructions, and certification records.
• Support stand-up of work in the new facility and transition of activities as spaces come online.
• Collaborate with AI&T, manufacturing engineering, and program teams to move work and WIP across sites.
