Job summary

Anduril Industries is hiring for a hands-on Facilities and Lab Lead in our Space Manufacturing team. The role oversees the three labs, ensures daily lab operations, equipment readiness, and cleanroom discipline to support space hardware builds.

You will perform maintenance, manage calibration, and coordinate with vendors while upholding safety standards, contamination controls, and asset flow. This is a demanding, hands-on position with growth potential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on experience maintaining and operating lab, cleanroom, or manufacturing facility equipment in controlled environments.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and facility systems (HVAC, pumps, chillers, DI water).
• 2+ years in ISO-classified cleanrooms (ISO 5–8) with gowning and contamination discipline.
• Hands-on safety experience with hazardous materials and gas handling; floor or lab safety point of contact.
• Experience with calibration/metrology scheduling, preventive maintenance, and inventory flow.

Responsibilities

• Keep three Space Manufacturing spaces running day-to-day (lab, temporary cleanroom, new facility).
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of lab equipment; coordinate specialists for beyond-scope work.
• Run contamination-control routines for ISO 5–8 cleanrooms and manage gowning, monitoring, and supplies.
• Operate and maintain cleanroom and facility systems (HVAC, gases, pumps, DI water), service on schedule, coordinate vendors.
• Serve as safety point of contact: enforce safety, handle hazardous materials, support inspections.
• Manage lab assets, calibration scheduling, and consumables flow with supply chain and quality.
• Maintain audit-ready SOPs, gowning procedures, safety docs, and monitoring records.
• Assist stand-up/transition to new facility and support wind-down of temporary space.
• Collaborate with AI&T, manufacturing engineering, and programs to keep WIP moving and communicate status.
• Potential growth into team lead/people-manager role.
