Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a skilled simulation software engineer to design, implement, and validate mathematical models for the New Glenn program. You will build real-time SIL/HIL capable architectures and support on-site testing and training with launch crews.

The role requires hands-on development, model documentation, and collaboration with engineers across propulsion, guidance, and systems disciplines to ensure models meet requirements and support flight readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace, computer science, electrical, mechanical engineering, physics, or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong modeling and simulation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design and revise software for mathematical models of New Glenn and subsystems.
• Develop real-time SIL/HIL simulation architectures.
• Document model data and assist engineers across domains.
• Support verification and validation procedures for model products.
• Prepare and operate simulators during training sessions.
