Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Specialist, Logistics Engineer at Cape Canaveral, FL to join the Systems Test and Launch Operations team. You will participate in logistics planning, integration and testing of space-bound launch vehicles, contributing to successful launch operations.

The role requires strong logistics analysis, extensive coordination with government and military programs, and willingness to travel up to 10%. A US Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and minimum 4 years of logistics experience; graduate degree with 2 years; in lieu of a degree, 8 years of experience.
• Active US Secret Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Perform Integrated Logistics Support and logistics support analysis.
• Analyze, plan, and implement complex logistics tasks.
• Perform maintenance, sustainment, inventory, storage, supply, packaging and handling, and transportation of complex aerospace hardware.
• Understand and use inventory systems, tool control, calibration, facility optimization, warehousing, flight hardware contingency recovery and transportation, design support activities, and logistics products and processes.
• Generate, author and maintain standard logistics documents.
• Ability to travel inside and outside of the continental United States up to 10%
