Job summary

L3Harris is seeking a Senior Associate, Test Engineer at our Cape Canaveral, FL location. Join the Systems Test and Launch Operations team to participate in integration and testing of space-bound hypersonic launch vehicles, culminating in launch operations.

Essential functions include assembling, testing, and troubleshooting missile systems, operating test equipment, and generating procedures. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally is required.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical, aerospace, or electrical engineering (or equivalent with experience).
• Graduate degree or equivalent with 0–2 years of related experience; or 6 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform integrating, testing and assembling of multi-stage missile systems or comparable aerospace hardware.
• Participate in system level functional hardware testing and support.
• Operate basic electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, signal generators).
• Travel for extended periods inside and outside the continental U.S.
