Job summary
Blue Origin LLC is seeking a skilled technician/engineer for Operations and Launch Site Execution in the New York area. The role focuses on installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems across launch facilities.
You will support high‑reliability ground systems and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure readiness for spaceflight operations. Candidates should have 5+ years in instrumentation/controls, experience with PLCs, and the ability to
Qualifications
- 5+ years of instrumentation/controls experience in aerospace, industrial, or oil and gas environments.
- Ability to interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Familiarity with PLCs and installing/troubleshooting instrumentation.
- Experience with 24 VDC, 4-20 mA loops, and 120/208/480V systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication; able to lift 50 lbs and climb ladders.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain instrumentation and control systems for launch operations.
- Contribute to design, build, integration, and sustainment of ground systems and facilities.
- Work as part of a team to ensure system readiness and facility reliability.
