Frontera Space in Cedar Park, Texas is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to own day-to-day on-site technology operations across HQ, fabrication shop, and test facility. You will manage Microsoft 365, Entra ID, network gear, and security practices while collaborating with engineering on test systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT systems administration experience.
• Hands-on Microsoft 365 and Entra ID administration, Windows endpoint support.
• Solid networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, switches, Wi‑Fi, VPNs).
• Working knowledge of PowerShell, endpoint security, MFA, least-privilege principles, and technical documentation.
• Strong service orientation, clear communication, and willingness to handle both routine support and hands-on installation work.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day employee IT support, onboarding/offboarding; procure, configure, deploy laptops and equipment.
• Administer Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive.
• Support AWS WorkSpaces and cloud storage; develop scripts and repeatable procedures.
• Install, administer, and troubleshoot switches, firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, DNS/DHCP, cabling.
• Coordinate with Engineering on connectivity for test systems and assist with cybersecurity monitoring.
• Document and submit infrastructure changes for IT review; maintain asset records and configurations.
• Participate in technology projects, migrations, and vendor coordination.
